Expert Consultant Pharmacist Reviews
Each month, our expert clinical consultant pharmacists visit the facility to review each resident’s medical records. This service is to ensure that all medications are properly administered, prevent possible dangerous medication interactions and eliminate unnecessary or duplicate medications. Also, these pharmacists participate in the facility’s care plan meetings and make recommendations to the resident’s physician for alternative medication therapies that improve the quality of life and/or reduce costs.
Specialized Infusion Therapy Services
Our staff is trained in providing complex infusion therapy medications and services. Providing these specialty medications and services requires specific expertise, advanced equipment and state-of-the-art facilities.
Safe Dispensing & Responsive Delivery
To ensure resident safety, UVANTA dispenses each resident’s medications in special unit-dose packaging that contains the proper dose. Our specialty packaging and drug distribution systems are coordinated with the facility to ensure the safest possible drug administration. In response to the acute needs of our residents, UVANTA provides daily, after-hours and emergency deliveries.
Accurate Billing Services
UVANTA accepts most Medicare Part D and other insurance plans. To assist residents and their families with today’s complex insurance programs, UVANTA’s expert billing staff handles all the details of submitting claims. Our easy-to-understand monthly billing statements provide you with an accurate description of the medications and their costs. Our expert billing staff is available to answer your questions.
