Consultant pharmacist reviews
Each month, specially-trained pharmacists review the resident’s medical record to ensure that all medications are being properly administered and any unnecessary or duplicate medications are eliminated. When possible, these pharmacists also make recommendations to the resident’s physician for alternative medication therapies that may improve the quality of life and/or reduce costs.
