UVANTA was founded to address a growing concern among long-term care organizations about the performance of their facility’s pharmacy service.

In 2004 a group of experienced pharmacy professionals conceived a new business model to fill the void between the local independent pharmacies who lack the resources and the large impersonal pharmacy conglomerates whose first priority is to their investors.  Through a network of independently owned and operated pharmacies, UVANTA blends the resources of a national organization with an attentive ownership structure that is only accountable to the local facilities and their residents.  The result is a clear focus on the essentials of your facility.
